Once upon a time, Parliament was a house of etiquette, decorum and even conservative behaviour. But that’s done with. This year the house has been the setting for one hilarious episode after another. While the EFF has usually found itself at the centre of the parliamentary shenanigans we’ve seen, on Thursday the ANC and the DA entered the fray with Mmusi Maimane showing his boss side and Lindiwe Zulu unleashing her inner street fighter. It would seem Channel 408 has been highjacked by a cast if entertainers rather than politicians, and more viewers keep tuning in.
BREAKING: Parliament Live has been nominated for an Emmy award in the same category as LNN.

@NomalangaSA Who needs Generations, Sewende Laan, etc when we have live Parliament. Appears that there was even a fight for sporting types!

It’s all fun and games though, until we need to pass a new law or hold an elected official to account. Lest we forget:
This country needs a leader guys. At times like this, do not make the wrong choice.
