Mamphela Ramphele: “I had a dream”

In 2014, AgangSA founder Mamphela Ramphele told the country about her dreams for creating a better South Africa. But when Agang won only two seats in Parliament, Ramphele, it seems, didn’t have the trust and support of ordinary South Africans. This simply wasn’t good enough and Ramphele quit the party. As she lives it up in Cape Town while former employees struggle to make ends meet, Ramphele sure is living the dream – just not the one she promised us.
