During the State of the Nation Address (Sona) last week and the ensuing Sona debates yesterday and today, there’s been a lot of drama in the House. But, at the end of the day, has any of it served any purpose? Will South African citizens be better served by the MPs who represent us in the National Assembly? Have our leaders’ attitudes changed in any way? Or is it just back to business as usual?
