Comedian Aziz Ansari recently appeared on American talk show Conan to chat about his new comedy on being single. Ansari laments that the era of smartphones and short attention spans has ruined the single life by making it too easy for people to cancel on plans. Dating arrangements are now always subject to change, at any minute.
“It’s pretty much like you’re a secretary for this really shoddy organisation, scheduling the dumbest shit for the flakiest people ever,” Ansari says.
“I’m sorry I’m missing out on all that,” replies host Conan O’Brien, who has been married for 12 years.
How about some sympathy for us frustrated singletons, Conan?
